This is the beta of the next generation of Jisho.org. It’s an ongoing experiment in making a better online Japanese dictionary. The old site has served well for nearly nine years, but it’s time for a new look, better data and more powerful search features. There’s a couple of example searches below to give you an idea of what this new version can do. But this is just the beginning, so check back often for updates.

Since this is a beta, please don’t mind the occasional glitch or outage, but do give us all your feedback. Comments, questions, love, hate — post it on the new forum, or shoot us an email.
